spark plugs

has amyone fitted twin or 4 electode plugs
if so are they worth the investment
halfords only sell in packs of 4 very anoying for us 6 pot fans

Normal GM twin electrode plugs are as good as any other & very good value afaik :y

I've got twins on mine. Get yourself a trade card and get down to vx for cheap parts, you can buy them seperately

They used to sell them singularly too. In the days before ABS Trade Club card I refused to buy 8 when I only wanted 6, they used to have the single plugs at the back of the parts desk. Trade Club dealer plugs cost bugger all though. Up to DRW car, all Omegas use twin electrode plugs then later cars have 4

..and just to add, the only advantage of the 4 electrode plugs is longer life. Service interval for the plugs was extended to 80k when these were specified.

I personally wouldn't leave the plugs in for that long. If nothing else they appear to work loose before then. :o

No reason to run anything other than the GM plugs. Even on LPG they work fine.
