Yep although some ancillaries will need swapping over as the DTR was from the vectra

As a clue

Y=Euro3 Emmissions
22=cc (2.2)
D=Diesel
T=Turbo
H=High Output

and

R=Increased output

The R variant has about 5-6hp more

I would expect all rotating ancillaries would need changing (aircon pump, power steering pump, alternator).

Its not that bad a job on an Omega as there is quite a bit of room under the hood.

Whats wrong with the old donk, they are known to do 300K + miles with regular oil changes

Quite partial to left handed drill bits though.  Either drills it out or unscrews it.

Or snaps and makes it a real fun and games fest, just like the easyout!   ;D

Where are you GreenFingers? Maybe one of the regular guys (myself, Elite Pete, Darth Loo-Knee) could do it cheaper than a garage :y

Would the sumps need swapping over too?

Thinking of aquiring a replacement engine for when mine pops as the original is on 165k :) :D
