Raj,

On the face of it, it looks like a good car and an honest listing and as stated, if it had been misrepresented then you would have a case, even if you paid up and then a serious problem appeared shortly after.

However, you have to admit that in your initial posting you gave the impression that you were looking for reasons to go and haggle with the guy!  ::)

I hope you've had a good buy and I wish you well, but I have to be honest that I'd find it quite amusing if the seller is an OOF member and has been reading this thread.... ;D Which looking at the photos seems quite likely....  ;D  ;)

If you get a receipt that the cambelt was done 23 000 miles ago and less than 4 years ago leave it alone, in other case change it also when you do the oil.
No age related to rocker cover depends how the car was treated (good petrol, frequent oil change, breathers cleaned etc).
I would also replace brake oil (if it wasn't done) and check the shocks just in case (although they should be ok judging by the mileage).

To be honest Rajveer, the body kit, exhaust & steering wheel are probably worth as much if not more than you paid for it, without even taking the bare car into consideration ;)!

I think the most sensible procedure to adopt is to do your homework and ask the questions before buying or committing yourself to buy.

Insurance!

Also 2.2 is just so much easier to work on than those V6's!
