Next Weekend Work Schedule

Ok, got new heater matrix, next weekends plan is to fit it, i understand theres cutting of dash required, anybody fancy giving me some moral support, theres bacon rolls and tea in it for anyone....

When replacing that on a Carlton in the past I found it a straight forward job, although a lengthy one as I had to strip the whole dash / facia assembly out back to the bulkhead.  Very interesting to do, but I thought at the time I wish I could avoid it all!!

But, I know some on the OOF have perfected a great, relatively simple method of extracting and replacing the matrix on Omega's without stripping the facia out :y :y :y

Perhaps they can give you some guidence on here? :-/ :-/

I have found these pictures that were shown on the OOF at the time of a member doing the matrix using the shortcut method by cutting a very small section of the lower facia.  Hope they help:
