« on: 14 February 2011, 18:36:25 »

On my 2000 cdx omega the ABS and Traction control light stay on on the dash and when this happens the speedo stops working, goes out after about 10 miles and the speedo works again, this started after the last batch of snow, anybody got any ideas

Oh no  :(

Even though I've only shunted mine about on the driveway, mine does the same. Rev counter flicks about, dropping to zero, (but with the car still ticking over nicely) and the ABS / TC light flickers.

Been there got the T-shirt... ABS ECU... for certain.

I had mine repaired by BBA-Reman, £130 + 2 year warranty, sent on Monday got it back Friday.....fiddly job to remove, car is driveable - ish without the ECU .. but not fun... even more fiddly to put it back on.

Mark DTM has another "source" for repairs as not everyone is as pleased with BBA as I am ..  :)
