I've bought lots of tools etc., (not a Powerpack), from Aldi, & Lidl who do the same thing. Don't expect anything to be good for heavy duty use on a daily basis, but for my occasional requirements most things have been excellent.

I bought one 12 months ago, haven't needed to start the car with it yet, took it to the Newent meet, inflated my matress, charged my mobile, gave me a night light etc.

Also use it as a portable power source for my 12v soldering iron, and 12v drill.

Charge it up after use, and if not in use, once a month.

Battery still reading fine :y

:)Got a double jointed mate with scary looking chrome different shaped poking things!!! Hav'nt seen him beaten yet, he pops 'em out & you'd think they were never there.
On a smaller scale found packs of 4 Microfibre cloths for a quid in Farmfoods of all places. These are what the valet lads use in or outside your Mig & you can bung 'em in with the wash!!! :y

Worse.  OK, Halfords are thin, but otherwise OK.  These were thinner  :o, and poor quality as well.  But only £2.99 iirc.

Picked up the powerpack today,
1st impressions i'm quite impressed, seems much better quality than the rac one that went back under warranty

good weight to it
selection of spares,
cubby holes for chargers

will see how it goes, 3 year warranty, so can't be too shabby  :y

Bought a powerpack from Halfords back last year, paid £94 for it, well worth it, used it several times, and its ideal for the caravan tyres etc.
