Very simple question, is there a shelf life to Vx oils.

Would say the simple answer is, no different to other oils?  As long as it is in a sealed container and stored correctly as regards temperature, humidity etc, that is....    :-/

Thats what concerns me its in original sealed container but has been stored in my shed for the last 8-9 months during the very cold weather  :-/

Given that it is sealed then the airspace in the container is minimal so would suggest that moisture ingress should not be a problem. 

As to temperature cycles and fluctuations dont think it should make much odds.  Perhaps the olive oil/honey scenario where solids form due to low temps but go again when temperature rises.

That said, google would be your friend or perhaps some specialist oil companies Q & A?

Oil in your car has been in same temp do you worry about that when it's -15 outside. Only 8-9 mths that's nothing bet your shed never got below -10 or so that should be fine there more H2O in your engine oil.
