here comes the blonde moment , whats a tech2 ? and will a decent garage have one , followed by , whats the quickest it can be done ?

tech2 .. a diagnostic machine for vauxhalls, can also "talk" to the car and configure equipment/do upgrades to some software

Will a decent garage have one .. Dealers will, others might have similar, but wether they can use them properly is unlikely. 3 are "on" the forum with folks who CAN use them

Quickest it can be done ..... old one off 2 hours, back on .. took me 4 hours and a fortune in the swear box ... the bit in the middle depends.... BBA were Mon - Fri when they did mine .. probably worth ringing them for latest timescale.   breakers .. depends how long it takes to find the right one.  dealers ... usually get most things in 48 hours.
Under an hour and without the swearing if you know how :y

using an angry grinder doesn't count   :D  you have to be able to drive it again afterwards   ;D

Not even using the angry grinder or the REALLY BIG hammer...genuine, not breaking anything way of doing it that saves your time, knuckles and stress levels :y 45mins-1hr :y
