Hub nut is 320 nm so will need holding very firmly to undo if off the car!

Apart from that st easy enougj to do on the front.
Is that to change the complete hub as in the pic??
If you swap hubs assembly as pictured with baring assembly attached you'll need to re set the camber. Better to remove the baring assembly by undoing the 320 mill nut and swap just those... Unless theres a problem with the hub assembly?.

There is some possible confussion with terminology here.
Baring is pressed in to the metal flange bit the wheels bolt to. It comes as one bit, so thats the baring in its own assembly imo.

Thats bolted to what i call the hub assembly and holds the caliper/wheel and baring/shock in place...

To swap, the shock has to be removed and therefore the camber setting will be lost.

Hope i've described that clearly  :-/
I don't know the history of this car but the camber setting is probably wrong anyway ::)

I would swap the whole hub + stub axle assembly and then go to WIM to have the suspension set up properly.
[edit]or (as Glasgow is even further from Chesham than I am) I would do what I did earlier this year and use a 6 foot straight edge and a roofers square to measure and set the camber manually[/edit]

True, it's just that I'm passing there tomorrow, so I could have checked it out first as the front bearing is started to grind.

Won`t have a decent idea of any bearing wear until it`s actually mounted on the car

My way was the easiest. Buy hub from dealer & then pay local garage to fit it.  ;) ;) ;)
