3.2 - Not quite right following stat change
« on: 09 March 2011, 22:22:24 »

The other day I took off the plenum/inlet and changed the Stat.

I also removed the coil packs to look in the plug wells.

I put it all back together - started fine, but upon driving a bit, seemed to lack power.

I had a look under the bonnet, and the rear multiram vaccum was de-tatched.

My bad - reconnect this.

I took the plenum off again when I did the cambelt, and made certain everything was seated right, and no air leaks.

At the moment, she feels more like a 2.5 than a 3.2. Not running rough, just nowhere near the "3.2 poke" it had when I collected her.

When I started her from cold today, she misfired for a few seconds, then ran smoothly (but still underpowered).

Any thoughts?

The only code logged is the cat efficiency one.. which is normal for a 3.2...
