Good move.  :y

I've just had the displeasure of driving a fwd Jaguar X Type from St Autell to Plymouth and back. I wasn't breaking any speed records although I wasn't exactly hanging about. The understeer was frightening.  :'( Acceleration was good, it was a turbo diesel, but the ride was exceptionally nervous and it was really uncomfortable.

I will take my Omega next time.

Unless I can borrow the bosses V8 XKR that is.  ;)

On my second elite now and I love them! I work for Audi and have driven everything in the current range and nothing is as comfortable as a mig, even the A8 has a lumpy ride due to the adaptive air suspension (even in comfort). Vauxhall may not be considered as prestige as Audi but I'm no badge snob, and as the prices are a hell of a lot cheap than an A6 you get fantastic value for money.

Spot on, you get a lot of bang for your buck, especially in the higher spec omegas  :y

That's interesting, I was thinking about what i'll replace the Omega with in a few (probably many!) years time and the A6 was about the only car that I liked the design of and seemed anything like the spec of an Omega. Really ought to blag a test drive in one one day.

Yeah, the plastic lenses get imperfections.  Polish down if they are not perfectly clear, and also use plus50 bulbs ;)
