That's interesting, I was thinking about what i'll replace the Omega with in a few (probably many!) years time and the A6 was about the only car that I liked the design of and seemed anything like the spec of an Omega. Really ought to blag a test drive in one one day.

Don't both, unless you can find a 4.2 or a le mans it will only disappoint!

We got an advisory a couple of years ago for the headlights, bought a couple of later design ones from ebay, fitting them was a doddle.  :)

Possibly, it was a 95 Select estate, got a 98 GLS estate now and it has the later lights in it. :)

I bought some of these last week, (I copied Chopsdad  ;) )

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OSRAM-NIGHT-BREAKER-H1-Headlamp-Bulbs-90-More-Light_W0QQitemZ220193454085QQihZ012QQcategoryZ72235QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

I'm really pleased with them and can even drive down unlit lanes without having to put the full beams on. The light isn't too blue and they seem to work great.  8-)
