1st Service
« on: 07 April 2011, 09:04:40 »

Hi, I'm new here, don't know if this is the right place to post.

I've got a 2004 3.2 Elite, owned it from new, just got over 9,000 miles on the clock, and it's coming up to it's first service.

As I don't live anywhere near a main dealer, I've got to trust it to a local garage.

Is there anything I should point out to him?

Thanks.

Amazing, didn't you have it serviced every 12 months?

After 7 years of ownership you should seriously consider having the cam belt changed, especially as you are only using the car occasionally.

If you trust it to the local garage, make sure they have the correct tools.

Thank you for your reply, but I thought the engine was chain driven, that's what I was told when I bought it.
