Hi folks my 2.2dti is a pig to start when hot, if i try to start it and the heater plug light comes on it starts fine. If the light doesnt come on the car wil turn over for about 20-30 seconds then start with a big plume of dark smoke, if anyone uses one of these boxes is it hard to fit and does it work. All injector seals and filters done within last 1000 mls

Was it ok before the work was done.
iirmc this engine is direct injection so the glow plugs only work when the block is cold.
Getting the codes read is your first port of call (tech 2) this will show any faulty sensors

No codes coming up on reader car was the same before work done. Thought the work would of cured the problem :-? :-?
