omega estate

Could someone please tell me what i should look at and watchout for when looking at a 2.6 estate 2001.Thanks in advance for your help.

Rust around the rear doors and arches, clunks from the front suspension and maybe rear if the car has a tow bar, check the front tyres are wearing evenly. Check the brakes aren't warped or pulling when used hard. Let the cooling fan cut in and out. Also make sure the emmisions light comes on for a moment at initial start up.
I could go on but that should do to be going on with...
