v6 egr help

hi all
i have a problem with my 2.5 v6 where when i drive it a bit faster or push it i keep blowing a hole in one of a rubber sleeves that conects the steel pipes for the egr system.
has anyone got any ideas why?

firstly, it's not the EGR, it's the secondary air injection system.

there could be two possible causes :-

first is that the one-way valve isn't closing. This is the plastic valve attached to the rear of the radiator shroud.

second is that one of the cats might be blocked.

In any case, the cause is that exhaust is able to flow forwards through the rubber hose, rather than the true situation, which should be air only flowing at start-up.

.....and of course, 90% opf Omegas have had this entire system removed, so it is no longer a problem.

is it easy to remove the system? or is the a how too link?
