Bad luck Jerry What a nightmare, In the pollen filter area under the scuttle there are cable runs  with grommets  that go to the car interior which could be the problem and then of course maybe a weld seam leaking. Will have to take off all the bits under passenger area and hope to see where it is coming from. I will let you know what I find

I’ve got this issue and after much head scratching I’m convinced it’s evaporate from the Air-Con.
When I’ve got the Air-Con on, the evaporate usually runs out of two pipes, one either side of the driveshaft near the gearbox, on a humid day there is quite a lot.
I took up the carpet ect… and dried it out, I then drove in the height of summer to Austria, during which no rain fell by the time I got there the passenger foot-well was soaked in water.

the passenger kickplate is indeed the triangular plastic bit that runs from footwell to underside of glovebox, (doorside) it is held in place by 2 scews one in a hole near the top (you can feel this) and another under the plastic door trim, this trim comes out by sliding the strip with the vauxhall logo on and then prising up you will then see the tork screws holding it in place, the second screw for the kickplate is under that  :y
the foam panel that runs along the underside of the glovebox is held on by big plastic screw things that just turn with a flat screwdriver, get your head in the footwell and you will see them  :y
hmm just remembered your problem so wear a bathing cap   ;D ;D ;D

... and don't forget to post the photos on here!  ;)
