What's in the roof?
« on: 04 May 2011, 19:04:20 »

Anyone got a picture of the inside of a miggy 'ceiling' without the headlining in place?

We've got a bad rattle on ours, seems to come from above the rear driver's-side seat about level front-to-back with the grab handle.  Seems to be some sort of cross-girder above the headlining, which seems loose at that end.  ::)

I'm guessing that removing the headlining to investigate is a bit of a mission?

Possibly the rib rattling against the roof, can be fixed with some suitable sealer (or I guess even no more nails as much as I hate the stuff).

Headliner is not that bad to do and is pretty felxible, you might be able to do it simply by removing the trims from one side and getting in to sort the little issuete

Cheers Mark, reckon I may have just sorted that.

Just wedged a bit of cardboard  in between rib and roof where it was loose.  ;D

May cause the rest of the rib to come unstuck, but I'll cross that bridge if it comes to it.  :y
