Pre FL and FL seats
« on: 07 May 2011, 18:10:30 »

Just want to be certain about something here .
I had some responses to my wanted ad re MV6 seats .
I was certain that there are issues re airbag and seat heaters when fitting PFL seats to FL and just want confirmation that they are or are not compatible .

Iirc p/fl didnt have seat airbags, so could cause insurance issues in the event of an injury accident. :-/

Early cars, with the holes in the head rests, had no side airbags and mechanical seatbelt pretensioners, later cars (I think) moved over to pre tensioners which are wired into the electrics. Then came mini facelift which introduced side airbags...

Seats really need to go into/come from the same age range of vehicles.  :y :y
