Coolant temp drop
« on: 19 May 2011, 03:21:37 »

I just had the head gaskets replaced with a few extras, including the thermostat. The temp gauge is at about 50%, but drops to 0% when I turn the heat on (which does work). Does this sound normal or could one of the hbv hoses be misplaced? Thanks in advance!

Certainly doesn't sound normal, turning heater on my have a small, short term effect on temp, but not that much.
