Body kits for Omegas
« on: 29 January 2008, 17:32:19 »

Hi guys,

I see some of you have kitted out your Omegas, and was wondering who would be worth looking at for bodykits/spoilers/side skirts etc??

Help would be much appreciated :)

Irmscher for the body kits, but they are hard to come by now, and thos that do come up attract high prices. Steinmetz do some for the omega but they look tooo chavy for me... and the fit is not to good either. ::)

Thanks :)  Are there any bodyshops that do custom work that anyone here has used??  I kind of know what look I want, but nobody seems to make it.

I am looking for a smooth look, with some angles to complement those on the bonnet.   :-? :-/

Having seen your car master, i would not spoil your car by adding poor fitting body kits to it, keep it std, cos after you have taken the plung and you see the fit you will wish that you had'nt bothered. Just my thought tho mate it is your car after all. :y

If you find one, I'd be interested in your old front bumper if it's the one in your avatar.  :)

Yeah, having read a bunch of posts on the site, I have found a common theme in that kits don't tend to fit all that well :-/  I might just stick to very subtle mods such as different mirrors, tinted windows and perhaps ICE and some subtle yet effective interior upgrades, like kickplates, nice mats and the like :)

It most certainly is my car in the avatar :)  For a better front view, although the pic is not all that (it was taken on my phone), take a look at this :)  And if I do change it out, I will try to remember to let you know  :y

Same colour as mine mate, except for the annoying white plastic scrapey colour on the corners of mine.  ;D ;D

Irmscher no longer do any body kits for the facelift, i have tried everywhere inc Germany to no avail............I had even paid for mine to be done a few months back only to have a refund ........happy hunting.
