is the abs/tc light on an MOT fail???

And if they don't they shouldn't be performing MOT's as it is part of the test that it cycles correctly ;) ;)

As Andy and others have said,ABS light on is a fail but if the TC light is on by itself thats ok

I made the mistake of taking the ABS bulb out for the MOT last August on my Galaxy and that was the only thing it failed on. It used to be a good trick back in the day but no good now!

Best thing is to get it plugged in and find out what is setting it off. Plus the ABS is a major safety thing. So worth making sure it is all working properly.

If you are worried about what the MOT is going to flag up, ask the garage to do an Un-official MOT test which normally costs the same as the MOT and not all garages will do it, that way you will know if it will need any work.
