Looking for help but can't seem to find an answer.

My mig has a siemens NCDC 2013 head unit with the multi info display but mine now suffers with missing or dead pixels.

Does anybody know anyone or anywhere that repairs MID's cheap, or is it possible to get a fully working secondhand one and just remove the faulty one and replace with the new one, or do they need to paired with the existing head unit and ECU?

Ive been sent the thread about cleaning up the ribbon but ive heard this sometimes does more damage than good.
