Need new wheels. What to get and where to go?
« on: 01 February 2008, 17:07:13 »

As per my other thread, i've smashed 2 of my Steinmetz alloys. I have spoken to the nice people at Steinmetz, and they told me that they stopped producing those wheels some 3 years ago.

Now then, i'm in need for a set of wheels. Where do you go to get some for the omega?

Does anyone know where i could get a 17" steel from? I dont mind going down the steelie route, I actually kinda welcome it... Dirty white MV6 slammed on matt black steels, I can see it now. (I know i'm wierd!).

I doubt I can find 17's, but where can i get a set of 16's from? Saab?

Did any of the base model omegas come with 16" steels from the factory, hidden by hub caps?

If so, does anyone have some?

All sugestions welcomed, backed up with pictures would be great. Dont forget this is a track/street sleeper MV6, so no spinners or dirty great 'hoops'.

What cars did the big chunky 17's come from? Was it the Facelift MV6's?

How about a set of facelift MV6 wheels, powdercoated in black?

This is a great look and I believe they are 17 inchers.
