My 01 3.2 failed emissions on lambda & CO due to failed seal at rear silencer leaking. Definitely worth getting exhaust right before looking @ CAT.

try some cataclean and a good run to get it good and hot. Its worked for me on a selection of cars. Cataclean cost about £15 so much cheaper than a cat

Right, time for round two today.

Bolt is sorted on the exhaust, checked the rest of the exhaust and does seem to be leaking / blowing anywhere else, air filter removed and MOT retest booked for 10:30.  Not getting my hopes up to be honest, I have a new cat on its way aswell so if it fails today ill stick that on when it comes and try again.

Going to put some decent fuel in it and take it for a bit of a run before the test to make sure its all up to normal running temps.

Will give catclean a go, been looking at a few things like that and considering giving them a go.

Well, she failed again.

Cat is on order so will change that next, getting short of time as I need the car next saturday to go on holiday, not really going to get SWMBO, 2 kids and myself + camping gear etc. in a Peugeot 106!
