2.2 dti flat spot

hi ithe 2.2 dti has a bad flat spot (more like a miss fire) at 1500-2000 rpm its had full service and had the diesel magic aswell and still no chage also there are no fault codes stored
any ideas what it can be

Check all the vac pipes and connectors (lot's of them!) for splits etc, remove the inlet trunking an clean out the oil sitting in there and check the state of the MAF.

Also worth removing the EGR valve and checking how gummed up it is.
