... Looks like I've managed to blag a Barn for Monday, to change my lifters. Darn good job, cos the forecast is shocking.... :D

Done about 500 miles in the estate now, and other than the lifter, and needing the rams sorting (I know the issue) then it's looking to be a goodun' :)

glad you'll be undercover James i cant think of any thing worse than banging a cold hand or cold rain water running down your neck

When I changed my gearbox at TB's (while he was at work).. I was lying in the gutter, it was absolutely PELTING with rain, and rain was running down the gutter and pouring down the back of my neck while I was wrestling the gearbox on. I was determined!

I also remember giving my hand a knock once and thinking absolutely nothing of it, and carried on working on the engine. It was only when I looked down and saw my index finger cut almost to the bone, and blood everywhere, that I realised I probably better go and do something about it.

(So I cleaned it up, put a plaster on it, finished the job - cos I needed wheels to get to A+E) ;D

My omegas are being phased out - only have two now, but you never know what you`ll need to do and when  ;D ;D
