GM Hose Clips
« on: 03 August 2011, 09:45:32 »

Whats the best tool to get on the gm sprung hose clips at the back of the engine.

I have used long nosed mole grips before but would prefer a less akward tool to use.Any advise from others.

You need a tool made by draper there like a set of plier type hand grips with about a mtr of bowden cable attached, do the job so easy it's unbelievable, had mine since my Cav days and wouldn't be without them I think there about 30.00 quid these days

Ahh, yes. Required for the HBV. I thought we were talking about the breather hoses. For the coolant hoses the other tool is required (or a mole wrench and a box of plasters). ;)
