Who has the fastest Omega here??

Just a morbid curiosity question really.  Has anyone done any crazy mods to the engine to squeeze the horses out from under the bonnet??

its no longer in excistance, but i would rekon Omegatoy had the fastest Omega.

He put the full running gear from a lotus carlton into a P reg GLS Omega, gearbox, engine, brakes, everything.

It was fairly quick!

So thats a 3.6 Twin Turbo in a rusty standard GLS Omega, what was key was he did no external mods! So it was a real sleeper

Not me!!! ;D ;D

I lived in Germany for 5 years, and the autobahn was just at the bottom of my street and the road was straight with no bends, curves or junctions for about 10 miles :y

Its my 2.2 lpg  :y ;D

But seriously....ive seen Mr DTM using a Tech2 to show speedo reading.......ie you select the speed on the Tech2 and the speedo responds and shows the reading.......it appears no matter what you select on the Tech2 the speedo shows an over read of 3mph.....

So as Jims pic shows 150mph......Id say thats 147  :y

Iwouldn't do 150mph for several reasons, but the main one is...tyres. I would be papping myself in case of a blow out. You wouldn't stand a chance at that speed.
