Diff - from facelift to pre f/l ?

Im pretty sure they are the same, but just want to check.
The diff from a facelift will be a straight swap into a prefacelift ?

into 2.5 manual getrag R25 gearbox :y

Differential, big roundish metal casing at the rear, drives the rear wheels via driveshafts

Was taken from a year 2000 2.5 v6. Im not aware of any mountings etc. changing at any time. :-/
Want to be absolutely certain though. :y

Check the ratio is correct for the destination vehicle. ;)

Post 98 2.5 auto - 4.22.1  ;) which is the required ratio.

currently using 3.9 from ex auto.. and faster than before.. will see how it will be with 4.22 .. :) :)
