ABS/TC ECU repair
« on: 22 September 2011, 08:16:24 »

Morning all,

Lee (Wellung666) has asked me to find this out on his behalf.

Does anyone know/recommend anyone to repair the ABS/TC ECU on a facelift 3.0 saloon elite.

TIA  :y

BBA Reman did mine a while back  :y

It cost about £125 + vat and took about a week.  If I remember rightly you send it to them with a self addressed special delivery envelope, so it gets back to you quickly.

It was about 4 years ago they did mine, so check their website.  :y :y :y

Or Lee can have mine 99 pounds including recorded delivery post. Bargain.

See advert in for sale section.

Another vote for BBA-Reman here  :y :y  Sent by courier on the Monday got it back by courier on the Friday. £130 inc VAT with a 2 year warranty.

Prices might have changed as that was 5 years ago

Worth giving them a call ??

Mine (did I mention - for sale at the bargain price of 99pounds inc signed for delivery) was done by ECU testing in Nottingham.  :y

I think I'm right in saying that if you use a second hand one, it has to be from exact same model/year etc otherwise it has to be reprogrammed with a Tech 2..... Or something... :-/

Sorry Snr Varche, not trying pee on yer pitch!!  ::)
