theres a company on ebay selling projector headlights has anyone fitted these and are they any good as the originals give as much light as a candle

Fitment of real HID projectors is the best option, but perhaps the most costly.

Standard projectors are a fair improvement over original lamps.  Just do not buy the black Canadian ones as they cannot be used in the UK.

Post up a link to the seller and someone will advise.

I'll move this to the electrical section as thats what its meant for.

Welcome to the forum, by the way...   ;)   :y

I have a standard projector (from a company called Amber) on the off-side
It's a lot brighter than the original type but the main beam aims a lot lower than the Hella lamp on the offside
I am unsure how to remedy this as adjusters are set to aim the dipped beam correctly
Any suggestions?

Ensure it is a light for RHD. Many of the sellers are for selling for LHD, and try to confuse you saying DoT approved etc.  The LHD cannot be converted to RHD use, whatever the seller may say the levers do.
