Philips CCR 2000 CDC safe problem

watcha campers!

right, got a problem with my Philips CCR 2000 headunit. last year the battery went flat and i lost radio and cd on it. it says CDC SAFE when i try to access the disc changer. i rang up vauxhall and got a code for it whih unlocked the radio but the disc changer still says CDC SAFE.

can anybody help me out with some suggestions please?

Might be an idea to check the model number again ?

Not aware of a CCR2000 being fitted to a Vauxhall !!

I suspect you may have a CCR2006 with this fault
