Indeed it was the Monza.

Mostly used the 12v straight 6 as found in the Sneator and Carlton GSi

There were a few 24v Monzas made at the end of production.... then you get to the really rare ones. :)

3.6 Irmscher special. Very rare and very very collectable.

There are also (2 I think) 4.0 Irmscher Monzas out there.

I'd have to consult a Monza oracle but I'm sure Opel didn't make one. There are a few that've been converted since though.

They pop up on ebay every now and again, ranging from £300 for a grotter to about £2k for a good 1...

I think they did make a few right at the end, but I am far from certain on that.

Main reason you don't see many now is the rust issue. :(
They were notorious for the front suspension turrets russting away...  :o

I see one or two every day on my way to work.

I used to lust after one on my way to school every day. Then, one day, it got T-Boned. :'(
