The CID needs to be unpaired from old radio first, then paired to new one.

the old 2015 doesnt work at all since it blew up,i spoke to vauxhall today, they say tech2 should be able to do it but might take some messing about,

surely they must be recodeable considering the costs of the dam things

Not with Tech2 you carn't.

I think Dave DND may have a method, but not sure if its been tested yet.

If anybody out there has a ncdc 2015 / 2013 in delivery mode that they can do without for a few days, then I`m sure that I can figure something out.

im not sure if my 2013 is in delivery mode, thinking it must be otherwise it wouldnt work but it does,i have the old 2015 but i dont think anything happens to it when its plugged in,would it have to be in working order for it to be unpaired from the cid,or will tech2 be able to read it?

"Delivery Mode" means either a radio that is brand new and never fitted, or a radio that has been correctly de-installed from a car using a Tech2

If however, you have a working radio that has simply been "taken out" and unplugged, then I`m afraid that this is of little use to us at the moment.

Tech2 can only program a radio from delivery mode, or unpair from an EXISTING vehicle. We use something a little more sophisticated than Tech2 and can read the radio whatever the condition, but we need some data from a unit in delivery mode before we can help you guys further on this model.

I think you can depair the radio from the screen (if screen missing) as long as you have the PIN it was paired with.

You cannot depair a screen from radio if radio missing.
