if its a bulb; honest guys ill slap myslef and then allow everyone you gys to do it too!

Ill admit, im a bit scared now, because i did change the bulbs on both sides; HOWEVER; i ensured i bought the correct bulbs from the halford in store guide; now lesson learned, i shall go to VAUXHALL and see if it makes a differernce, they are only bulbs so wont cost a fortune!

I am also now backing the bulbs!

I know what I'm after and still find a lot of these Guides confusing!!

Before you rush out for new bulbs... Take the old ones out and try turning the lights on... You'll get Headlamp/Tail lamp warning come up but if the bulbs aren't in then they can't complete the circuit!!

We might be wrong but that's the most common problem... Quite often they get forced in the wrong way around (offset pins dictate correct orientation of bulb in holder) and can short across both pins!  :y :y

Oh, and I wasn't having a dig at you by the way... My pet hate is people who change headlamp bulbs and manage to get them in the wrong position so they blind every other person on the road at night!!  >:( >:(

no harm done mate; tbh thank you for the help; without the so called "rant" lol i wouldnt have known.  I really hope its not though, because im gana feel so damn stupid i might just delete my user and re-register on here!lol

Im going to check it in a bit, and am of to vauxh to buy some climate control bulbs and so will puirchase the others too; im not a halfords person, but was desparate for the bulbs; new area so didnt know where vaux was! bad mistake; i do now!

Went to vaux dealer in the local area after searching them down via Yell.

Anyhoo; even they were baffled by the light arrangment and said that my car should have this, i went shut it and get me these bulbs please' to which he returned with COMPLETELY DIFF bulbs to what i had in the car.

So put them in and WAHEYYYYYYYY  ;) it works fine now.  Brakes arent stiking on and all working well!!!

But got this for you guys to look at:  when i was putting the bulbs in under the carpet this came to my attention!

the blind and rear speakers work fine; so where is this supposed to be connected to then:

thanks os much for all your suggestions, really apreciate it!

thanks so much guys

Pleased to have been of assistance!!!  :y :y :y :y

As for the lead... I've got one of them floating about too, but mines up by the amp, with the rest of the loom! The only thing that doesn't work on mine is one of the door speakers, which I'm pretty sure is blown.  :-?
