That connector was present on my last three omegas, 97, 98, 03 and a 2001 Vectra.

You can connect your car kit straight to it. There are pins for 12V, 12V ign, radio mute, audio in to radio and microphone in the interior light.

The internal mic probably won't work, it's an active device and needs power.

The audio in to the radio will work as long as you have the transformer in the relay panel by the fusebox. Both my 98 Elite and 03 CDX had it.

Somewhere I have the pin assignments, if you need them I'll try to dig them out.

Help, I have connected the handsfree phone using the phone loom in the miggy, the phone and everything else works a treat, spot on.

The only problem with it is that when i put the phone in the cradle it should charge but the phone display reads NOT CHARGING.

I have checked all the wireing and fuses and all seems fine, i have tried another phone and it says the same.

Anyone any ideas.

I also forgot to mention i can also use the built in mic in the interior light, it works really good, very clear and loud whilst speaking to people.

not charging is an issue with the phone

nokia have 2 types of charger same plug different currents

the not charging issue is caused by the older chargers from the mid nineties

and now nokia have again just changed chargers to another type!

Not a mains charger or cigarette lighter charger, this is a fully integrated Cark91 car kit.  :y

Nope, the CARK happily charge 5110/61x0/6210/6310 range of phones without issue.
