Replacement for Delco 500

I want a replacement for the Delco 500 head unit (only unit!!) in the elite. Any adive on a plug and play device that will not harm my baby?

Certainly the stereo thats meant to be there should plug and play...

Was looking for head unit only to be honest. Not so bothered with the interchanger.

Or any after market ones that are suitable  :-/
