Ihave a 0mega2001 with a single cd player.Is it possible to swap this for the 4cd as fitted to better models (mine GLS) I am hoping disconnect and out then reconnect and in? thanks.

Without a model number of what is fitted, its very difficult to advise  :-/

In a GLS, likely to be a CAR2004 or CDR2005.  Should be able to straight swap for a CCR2006.

You will need a new cage I think, so make sure it comes with one and also the 4 digit security code. Make sure also that it is 'non Bose' so that it is compatible.

Average fleabay price around £75-100, vauxhall might be able to get reconditioned units around £130-140. 'Charcoal' is the colour you will require to match your dash.

The 'Bose' bit will need configuring via Tech 2 diagnostics though to work wih a 'non-bose' specified car. 'TheBoy' is the guy to speak to.

ccr2006 can be set for bose or non bose via tech2
