Parrot CK3000
« on: 04 September 2008, 11:36:25 »

Hi All

Looking to get a hands free car kit, I have seen the Parrot range and working on a cost of about £100 have any of you used this one and what do you think of it.

Also what should i be paying for the system and fitting.

Would it be a better idear to use the pre wired system as not sure of the cost of this.

Thanks for the help.  :y

by the way the one that i am thinking of is the CK30000 parrot base line one but look,s like it will do the job at the right price.

i thought the built in phone kit on the face lift was improved over the pre f. ? And that the pre wiring and mic where worth using. Myn is built in with unit in the glove box. So i use that or speaker phone on my n95 so cant help any further with the Parrot. Except to say a mate has one in a smart car, was not that keen on the sound quality when ringing him, but the mig will have less cabin noise than that roller skate, so may be better.

Hi SP_3.2.I have had the  ck3000 fitted to my Elite now for just over a year and can say it is a fine bit of kit.Unsure of the exact fitting details as paid for it to be done but have been very pleased with the overall performance of the unit.I had it fitted on the metal bracket just above the climate dials (as mini-facelift) but in hindsight I would have had the microphone fitted higher, maybe around the interior mirror as with climate on people say they can hear the wind noise from the fans running.
But on the hole a neat bit of kit.
