Sunroof switch bulb

Sitting in the traffic last night I happened to looked up and noticed that the sunroof switch was not lite.  How do you change the bulbs/s or is this another one of these replace the whole switch jobs >:(

you can change the bulb yes have to remove plastic surround and pull it out its a long legged bulb vx only iirc  :y

Ok how do you remove it just pull it or something else?  As I cant see any panels to remove except where the maual winder would go is there a screw under it?

what is a Long legged bulb vx only irc?

Sorry just not sure about the terminology

need to remove interior light and theres two screws under that and pull your knob off and release the clips on shaft then the plastic pulls away ! Its a small bulb with long wires coming out of it !  iirc is if i remember correctly vx is vauxhall  :y :y

Ive tried pulling my switch knob off but it wont budge, as i to have a blown bulb :-/

Personally I would not even bother changing it.  It's not like you really need it to light up in the first place, and it can often be a little distracting at night!

I often wondered why they made it light up, as its not often that surnoof's are used at night, but Ive heard some people call them a "moonroof" so maybe its to cater for them lol  ;D
