0V spots on omega 2.0 16v

This is for sure a stupid question, but if you dont know it ask someone who does! :)
what is the wire situation on the Omega (or any other car for that reason) with regard of 0V ? Is there several different 0V connections on the car, or does all of them return to the main 0V location?
If there are several locations.. does anyone knows where they are...? I'm thinking especially on the air intake area.
I just wanna check if the main sensors and components are properly grounded but I dont know how to deal with it... Any suggestions?

Just think of it in the old fashioned non tech talk way of an Earth! The whole body is connected to 'Earth' ie to the neg terminal of your battery

But I was thinking more precisely, I mean.. As an example , does the engine managment sensor have negative wiring to the chassis next to the connection point? Is there a negative wire from the actual connection point to the closest possible 0v point?
I case there are several 0v connection points, then I need to check for corrosion on the 0v connections all over the car.. Do you follow me, and what I mean...?

Anything sensitive such as a sensor on the engine management loom will normally have its' own return back to the signal ground at the ECU. Otherwise, currents from other loads in the system would cause DC offsets to appear on the signal.
