CCR2006 CD KEEPS STOPPING AND STARTING

Hi All
Miggy face lift 2002 elite when playing the cds they momentarily stop then restart there is no pattern to it. Dose any of you  that are more educated than me no what it could be.

Laser probably on the way out. Has it been playing CDR`s `cause they will stuff it :(

Yes i have been playing cdrs but not for long as i only got the car in December have i buggered it then?

CCR2006 doesn`t take kindly to cdr`s laser has to work overtime. So in answer to your ? Yes it`s probably on the way out :'(

I have just replaced my CCR2006 with an after market HU so have a CCR 2006 with code available you can try if you're looking to replace/repair yours.

I haven't played a cd at all in the 18 months I've had the car and I don't think the previous owner who had the car from new was the type to play cdr's.

It's not quite as simple as that however, you would have to swap over the front face (quite simple, the one on mine is detached).
I've promised the cassette and detached front face to other OOF members but it would seem a shame to just lob the main body into the bin, especially if it can be recycled.

Don't know about synch issues with the MID though :-/
