Leaking Exhaust
« on: 12 February 2008, 12:37:03 »

I have got an exhaust leak on the drivers side of the car, near the engine. Is it likely to be the manifold or is there any other very local joints?

How difficult is it to fix?

ok....its ma doddle and should be able to be done in about 30 mins.....

you wont get backache from the persistant bending over, nor will you graze your hands because you are working in a confined area.

That's more like it. I love my rose-tinted specs.

It is an over the top, or and under the car job? Is it worth me getting it done "professionally" at Kwik-fit etc.

Over and under.....takes upto 4 hours depending on your skill level.

But, first off, check the EGR flexi pipe to manifold joint is nice and tight (24mm spanner)
