Navteq CD
« on: 17 February 2009, 15:16:55 »

Per problems I am experiencing with my NCDC2013 see here I am keen to try out a different Navteq CD prior to surgery on the unit - anyone got one I can borrow ?
Would only need it for an hour or so - plug in, test functions then post right back :)

Have a genuine 2002 you can borrow if it helps.

Would be a big help :)

Just updated my other thread about the gremlins - see :

Quote
Update :  So I tried a regular CD in the single CD slot and it played perfectly - actually, it was a CD-R, so even more surprising.....took the disc out and put the Navteq back in.....found my position quickly, plotted a route home, and then it all got confused again :(

To me, this tends to suggest the disc is causing the problems, as the laser has no issue with a different CD ?

Any thoughts on my inspired prognosis  :D

Does seem to point to a dodgy Nav disc. PM me your address and i'll try and pop the 2002 disc in the post tomorrow.
