Bose into a Facelift!
« on: 10 April 2009, 12:33:24 »

have the opportunity (hopefully) to buy the full BOSE system for my facelift elite.

The system is coming from another elite, however, it has a different HU, its a CCR2006.
My elite is a 2000 with the NCDC2013, is the BOSE system compatible with it!?

It would have left the factory with it.

Its not chavvy Corsa-boy loud, its just a fuller, clearer sound.

Amp is in a plastic shelf, under parcel shelf. Rear speakers on parcel shelf.

just been out to check the car, no sign of speakers or an amp in the boot. in fact, the metal under the parcel shelf doesnt look like it ever had speakers!

Opps, just seen yours will be Opel. Sorry. Not sure on the specs of the Opels.

Easy enough to fit - you will have to drill the shelf for speakers. Also need to cut the carpet bit of shelf, or get a bose one.

You will need to do some wiring from HU to drivers kick panel to join to bose loom (which you will also need to fit)

mines definitely a vauxhall, how did you come to that conclusion!?

anyhoo...doesnt seem that difficult a task, i have a very capable auto electrician nearby if i run into issues.

BOSE system well worth the upgrade?

If I can fix a certain utility that I've broken, I can tell you what your car left the factory with...

facelift elite came with ccr2006 with bose, with the exception of 3.0/3.2 which came with ncdc2013 + GID + bose.

optional on others.
