Missing line on display

Hi

slightly wierd one this and would appreciate any help.  On the display unit (ie clock/temp display) with stereo removed the middleline of the display shows the date which is corret however when the stereo is inserted the display's blank and not showing the radio frequency or
CD track?

Confussed and ideas guys :)

Sounds like duff connection at back of radio or back of display then...

Thanks for that I'll remove the hu and check both connectors especialy the one that fits into the cage.

From memory, your CDR2005 or ccr2006 will have 3 connections to display in the top block of the 3
