How do I unlock my CD player?
« on: 02 June 2009, 21:54:17 »

Hi all,
A couple of days ago my CCRT 700 system came up with the message: CD-SAFE. I read up in the manual and if I understand properly it means that the changer in the boot has become briefly disconnected from the battery and needs the code putting in. Looking at the paperwork it appears that I have about five different codes for the sound system. I have tried to put them in but it is not having it. Am I doing something wrong?
It doesn't come up with a message or option to input a code do I have to find a code input screen or something?
I'd really appreciate any help I can get on this one, thanks in advance and will be very grateful when I can get it working :y

Yes, Changer is waiting for code to be entered -

I`m afraid that the details for code entry I have for the CCRT700 do not work for the Omega version, but I`m sure someone will be along to assist.

Something along teh lines of IGN ON and press and hold the 0 or CD button whilst turning the unit on I think?

Sorry, that model is not one of my strong points  :-[

If your familiar with the process for unlocking the radio then it is exactly the same, just press the CD button instead of AS.

Turn ignition on, hold CD and turn unit on, wait for beep, input code, press and hold CD and wait for beep again
