PHILIPS RADIO SWAP??

Hi there, just a quick question, will a philips car 400 replace a philips sc804cdc, with the remote lcd and remote autochanger. thanks. peter.

Remote LCD, yes, but you may need to alter the configuration of the display output from 10 to eight digits depending on where the car400 came from - easy job to do by holding a cople of buttons.

As far as Changer, not all Car400 have changer control capability.

Thanks for the info Dave, saving my pennys to sort it out, the radio fitted at the moment keeps losing channel i think it might be the AFC??, thanks again. peter and helen.

May be worth checking the aireal connection on the back of the radio its not uncommon for the inner wire to snap (they get hot and brittle ) I have had to sort mine out and  I know others have had the same problem  :y
