What about Emo?  :-?

I said that I had heard of Emu but she just looked at me gone out ;D

Well if my understanding is correct there is a similar word in Glasgow and surrounding areas.

It's called a Ned. You use the word Ned often in Glasgow banter. It stands for -

None
Educated
Delinquent
